This week I uploaded a video that was a hoot and a half to film. My great chum Zoe was over and since we haven't filmed together in about half a century, we decided to get to it and a collab was born.

I was also pleased because it had been a while since I filmed a beauty video so this ticked that box too. Woop woop for being efficient eh?

Loves of Late | Childhood Imagination

Aloha Sprinklerinos,

It's been almost a year since I last did a 'Loves of Late' and to be quite honest, I'd forgotten all about it! The other day I saw the post and decided I'd like to work it back into my blog but hadn't found the right thing to go with it. 

Well, now I have. 

I was speaking to my friend Marie on Skype a few days ago and she sent me a link to a video she thought I'd like. Oh my was she right! I LOVED IT. 

I feel like this video is a perfect reminder of a child's perfect imagination. Fun, inventive and untarnished by the restraints of adulthood. 

It had really inspired me to encourage Darcy to explore her ideas and creativity.

Other things I have been loving lately are lazy nights on the patio with drinks and friends (staying in is the new going out dontchya know), little walks to the corner shop with Darcy to choose treats, planning new ways to spruce up the living room (thank you Pinterest) and baked sweet potatoes- yum!

Ooooooeeeeee I feel delicate today!! 

Yesterday I gave Darcy to my Aunt and pootled off to London for a bit of Google HQ time. Swish. 

My friend Tyler Oakley was giving a talk about YouTube Networks (that sounds less interesting than it actually was I promise) and then after there was a bit of a pimms fuelled shindig. My lovely chum Oli White invited me as his plus one and a merry old time was had by all. I have actually vlogged the event for Sprinkle of Chatter but it was pretty loud during most of it so I'm not sure if it's worth putting up- we shall see. 

Today I'm enjoying being at home and wondering what to snap for tomorrow!!

My First Time

Huge Spring Primark Haul

Aloha Sprinklerinos,

I love Primark. I have loved it for years- dare I even say, since before it was 'cool'? 

I tend not to do a quick 'pop in' shop to Primark and prefer to save up, wait until they have replenished stock and have a big spree about once every 3-4 months. If I'm honest, it's more like every three but I want to cut down and make it just a seasonal thing.

My favourite branches are Liverpool (four stories and a brilliant shoe & bag section), Manchester (although seems to get really messy really quickly) and Milton Keynes (it's brand new and shiny). I'm not keen on either London store but I think that's because I always travel by train to the big smoke so the thought of taken a few big Primark bags on the train gives me shivers. I have also visited the Northampton and Birkenhead stores but thought they were pretty average. I have heard the Bristol branch is great. A little summary for you there! 

My favourite thing from this haul was the emerald green pleated maxi skirt which I am wearing as I type. I have only had it a matter of days and already worn it four times. I think it might become that piece of clothing that I wear to absolutely everything- it's love for sure.

How To Look Average

After last weeks oh-so-serious video, it was time for a little light relief.

I have wanted to do an 'Everyday Makeup Routine' for a long time but really, it's been done. Every beauty youtuber and their cat seem to have done one and to be honest, they have done better jobs than I could do. Rather than join the masses and do something the same way as everyone else, I took a more realistic approach- although I still lit the obligatory 'beauty guru' candles!

I hope you like it and can relate, I think we all have days like these! Haha!

Self Harm | Your Questions Answered

Aloha Sprinklerinos,

This week's video is serious. It isn't a beauty review, nor is it a tale of awkward situations I've faced, but a topic that I am regularly asked to address on twitter, tumblr and facebook and so, at last, I have.

The reason it took so long is because I wanted to make sure I delivered it just right. I wanted to make sure I was educated on the subject and I wanted to talk to some experts. I didn't want to just sit down, switch on my camera and spout off a load of words that may have actually done more damage than good. Hopefully, I haven't.

I know this video isn't happy happy joy joy, but I believe that even if one person feels helped by it or one person is more open minded to helping someone else, then it was worth it.

Yesterday I was delighted to see that this video was featured on BBC and Sky news to help raise awareness for such a serious issue. 

I'm not encouraging you to comment today, just to watch the video, have a think and then be available if ever someone needs your help in the future.

The Husband Tag

I was pleased to see last week how many of you said they enjoyed the video update routine we have going on here. Sometimes, if I'm feeling kerazzy, I add in another Wednesday too- I like to keep you on your toes.

This week I had a special guest on my channel for 'The Husband Tag'. No, not my husband. My Fusband! Mark is mine and Matt's good friend and is married to Clare (also our good friend). Since Matt isn't keen (yet) on being in videos for long periods of time, Mark kindly offered to be his stand in for me. A minority of people have asked if our spouses (Matt and Clare) mind and the answer is 'absolutely not!'. I think they'd mind if we jetted off on an exotic holiday or started a torrid affair, but making a couple of funny YouTube videos and then all having a takeaway and laughing until the small hours together is fine. Just thought I'd put that little fire out now!

It was so much fun making this video and from the comments, it seems that Mark is quite the hit with you too.

This Sunday I have a much, much more serious video to go up, quite different from my latest vlogs.

Dating Woes

As it is becoming customary on a Wednesday, here is my YouTube video that I uploaded on Sunday.

I like using my blog as a little catch up space and I'm enjoying this routine- are you? I've come to think that maybe routine is the way forward in life. Either that or I'm just getting old and boring. 

This week's video was more of a funny lifestyle one than a beauty one. And by 'funny lifestyle' I mean, 'let's all laugh at my misfortunes with men' ho ho ho.

Have You met Joey Graceffa Yet?

I think it would be fair of me to assume that some of you read this blog but don't watch a lot or any of my YouTube videos. If that's you, don't feel bad, horses for courses and all that jazz. 

Just in case you only watch the odd one or two, I thought I'd introduce you to a new person to my channel and in my life, Mr Joey Graceffa.

Joey is also a YouTuber and is an absolute HOOT! As well as being utterly beautiful (look at his face people, look. at. his. face), he is also quick witted and hilarious. We filmed THIS video on my channel and THIS video on his so if you are looking for something to do in your lunch hour, these might be it. 

I hope you have enjoyed this collaboration, I enjoyed filming it SO much! Can we all cross our fingers that Joey comes over to England this summer! Sqquuuee!

March Beauty Favourites
